I’m a theatre director and writer of YA and MG with a passion for rebel heroes and inclusive, feminist narratives. I received my MFA in Theatre Arts at Virginia Tech and teach at UC Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz Shakespeare. I’m an active SCBWI member. My short fantasy “Frost” appeared in Electric Spec in December ‘20. In ’24, I received an Honorable Mention for one of my MG fantasies in the Kids’ Choice Kid Lit contest. Every weekend, I meet online with The Inkredibles, my international writers group. I live with my amazing ND preteen and three cats in Santa Cruz, CA, and I’m glad to have a sizable mountain range between us and Silicon Valley.
